Pelé Sports Lifestyle Footwear – The Rasunda, Santiago and Azteca

Soccer-focused brand Pelé Sports continues to expand its offerings with a brand new range of lifestyle footwear. Known for some of the best designs in soccer clothing around and quality match boots, the firm has launched the Rasunda, Santiago and Azteca canvas sneakers (or trainers if you prefer).

The new shoes are named after the stadia in which the legendary Pelé led Brazil to its first three FIFA World Cup titles – the Rasunda at Sweden 1958, the Santiago at Chile 1962 and the Azteca at Mexico 1970.

Each shoe features a retro look reminiscent of the nineteen seventies and builds on that of shoe associated with an earlier World Cup title. For instance the Rasunda has an air of Swedish and Scandinavian mimimalism about it with a full canvas upper and a shell toe. The Santiago builds upon the Rasunda’s minimalism by incorporating suede accents along the lace eyelet areas and at the heel.

The Azteca completes the range with the use of suede accents again and a high top design similar to the old school Converse All Star. All of the shoes in the Pelé Sports 2012 casual range come with rubber soles that have the Pelé Sports signature in the heel area. They also include mini versions the Pelé Sports emblem on them.
