Boca Juniors 2024/25 adidas Third Kit

Three-time world club champions Boca Juniors has unveiled its third soccer jersey for the 2024/25 season, created by adidas. 

The latest Boca Juniors shirt  pays homage to the club’s historical ties with Sweden, featuring a design inspired by the Nordic country’s flag. The jersey sports a deep navy base color, complemented by a striking yellow/gold graphic that mirrors the Swedish cross, positioned on the right side of the chest.

This bold design is a nod to the club’s origins, as Boca Juniors’ iconic blue and gold colors were adopted from the flag of a Swedish ship sailing into the Buenos Aires port of La Boca in 1906.

Boca’s history is also celebrated via a print of the club’s first crest on the rear outside neck area.

The Boca Juniors 2024/25 third shirt also includes lighter blue shoulder stripes, providing a subtle contrast against the navy base. The adidas Three Stripes logo is prominently displayed, aligning with the jersey’s overall aesthetic. The club’s crest maintains its standard coloring, standing out against the jersey’s darker tones. This design choice not only respects the club’s rich heritage but also offers a fresh and modern twist to their apparel.

Despite the similarities in core colors to the home shirt, the third jersey serves a distinct purpose. It offers an alternative option for the team’s appearance during Primera, Copa Argentina, and Copa Sudamericna matches, especially when playing against teams with similar home kit colors. This strategic choice ensures that Boca Juniors maintains a unique and recognizable presence on the field.
