Werder Bremen 125th Anniversary hummel Kit

The 4th of February, 2024 marks the 125th anniversary of one of Germany’s most storied football clubs, Werder Bremen. In recognition of this historic occasion, the club, in collaboration with its kit partner hummel, has launched a key highlight for the celebration: the official “125 years of SVW” official anniversary jersey.

Klaus Filbry, CEO of SV Werder Bremen, remarked, “This anniversary jersey is a significant milestone for us. It’s with great pleasure that we unveil this special jersey to our fans, created in collaboration with hummel. The design, inspired by our heritage, represents the seamless blend of our storied past and vibrant present, making it the perfect emblem for 125 years of Werder Bremen.”

The 125th Anniversary jersey, designed in a dark green color, elegantly merges the modern Werder Bremen diamond with the historic crest from 1899, creating a unique pattern that adorns both the front and back of the jersey.

The spirit of the club is further encapsulated with the motto “Lebenslang grün-weiß” (Lifelong Green-White) printed on the back of the neck, complemented by the 125-year anniversary logo just beneath the collar.

The Werder Bremen 125th Anniversary jersey will make its debut during the Bundesliga match against 1. FC Heidenheim at the WESERSTADION on Saturday, 10th February 2024, with the women’s team also wearing it in their match against TSG Hoffenheim on the same day.

In addition to the jersey, Werder Bremen and hummel have also introduced an anniversary lifestyle collection, ranging from tracksuits to bomber jackets.
