SS Lazio Special 50th Anniversary Mizuno Kit

On May 12th, 1974, referee Panzino’s triple whistle officially declared the victory of SS Lazio’s first Scudetto. This remarkable achievement was accomplished by a team of relatively unknown players led by Coach Tommaso Maestrelli, fondly known as “the Maestro.”

To honor this legendary team and their significant accomplishment half a century ago, SS Lazio and technical partner Mizuno have collaborated to create a unique “Special 50th Anniversary Kit.” The team will wear this special jersey during Matchday 36 of the 2023/24 Italian Serie A season against Empoli.

To make the SS Lazio Special 50th Anniversary kit truly unique and memorable, several distinctive details enhance its design. The names of the entire squad and Coach Tommaso Maestrelli form delicate vertical stripes embossed on the shirt, adding a touch of elegance and history.

The wide edges of the collar and sleeves feature a retro-inspired ribbed design in white, contributing to the jersey’s classic look.

On the upper back, directly under the collar, a tricolour band proudly commemorates the Scudetto victory.

On the front of the shirt, a golden banner and the inscription “73-74” is prominently displayed to the right, under the club’s crest, serving as a clear reference to the trophy won.
