adidas and AC Milan Terminate Partnership
adidas today officially announced the end of their now nineteen year technical sponsorship with Italian Serie A power AC Milan. The club is expected to unveil a new outfitter soon with PUMA rumored to be the front runner for the coveted deal.
According to adidas: adidas has today confirmed that its partnership with AC Milan will finish at the end of the 2017/18 season, after a mutual agreement to prematurely terminate the existing contract.
The brand is extremely proud to have supported AC Milan for 20 years and would like to thank the club for a professional and hugely successful collaboration.
adidas has witnessed some truly great moments in the club’s history over the years, including their championship winning centenary season, two UEFA Champions League victories, two additional Scudetti and the FIFA Club World Cup. adidas has also witnessed iconic players such as Clarence Seedorf, Cafu, David Beckham and Kaka wear the famous Rossoneri on the world stage.
The last AC Milan home, away and third kits (those of the 2017/18 season) are now on sale at the World Soccer Shop, Lovell Soccer, Pro:Direct Soccer, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag Italian Serie A sections.
