Aston Villa Football Club, in collaboration with adidas, has dropped its home kit for the 2024/25 season. This release marks the commencement of a historic multi-year partnership between the club and adidas, coinciding with Aston Villa’s monumental 150th anniversary. The new shirt will be donned by the team across all major competitions, including the Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League.
The design of the 2024/25 adidas home shirt is a sophisticated nod to Aston Villa’s rich history. A special ‘AV 150’ symbol is elegantly displayed in calligraphy on the back of the shirt, paying homage to the club’s century and a half legacy. This thoughtful inclusion adds a touch of heritage to the modern design, making it a fitting tribute for such a significant milestone.
Complementing the 24/25 home jersey are solid white shorts and signature blue socks, maintaining the traditional Aston Villa color scheme. The new club crest proudly adorns the kit, symbolizing the club’s ongoing evolution.
Additionally, the kit features the iconic adidas three-stripes branding on the shoulders and around the collar, seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary style. An ‘1874’ sign-off further commemorates the club’s founding year, reinforcing the deep-rooted history celebrated in this kit.
The on-field version of the Aston Villa 2024/25 home jersey is equipped with adidas’ advanced HEAT.RDY technology, designed to optimize player comfort during matches. This technology enhances breathability and ensures players remain cool and dry, even under intense conditions. For fans, the jersey is available in AEROREADY technology, which utilizes sweat-wicking or absorbent materials to keep the body dry, providing a comfortable fit for everyday wear.
Aston Villa’s men’s team will debut the new kit during their pre-season tour in the USA. The first appearance will be on July 27 against defending MLS Cup champion Columbus Crew.
