Back at his first club after a successful decade in Europe that saw him star at Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus, Carlos Tevez unveiled the Boca Juniors 2016 Nike home kit via Twitter this week.
“There is nothing like playing at home, with the fans, the energy, and the Xeneize legend all around you. That energy coming from the crowd is what can make all the difference in a game, and it’s what this jersey represents,” says Tevez.
The reigning Primera División and Copa Argentina champions will return to action early next year in their familiar blue shirt with a yellow band running around it. The 2016 version of their jersey uses a new, sleek Nike design that features a ribbed v-neck collar.
A yellow star is printed on the inside neck area with the text “BOCA” at its center. The Nike logo and CABJ crest are embroidered on the kit’s front while sponsor logos are placed on the front, upper back and sleeves. An additional yellow star has been added into the Boca badge in celebration of their latest titles.
