Polski Związek Piłki Nożnej (PZPN) technical sponsor Nike have dropped the Poland EURO 2016 home and away kits.
The white home jersey will make its debut during Wednesday’s international friendly against Serbia in Poznan. It will be available at along with the team’s 2016/17 away kit at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, Lovell Soccer, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag on March 24.
The Poland EURO 2016 home kit pays tribute to an enduring symbol of national pride, the eagle, with a grey linear wing graphic across the chest, which also also features the association’s crest. “Polska” (Poland) appears on the shirt’s back collar.
The sides of the kit introduce a red stripe that runs the length of the shirt and changes to white on the kit’s red shorts. Expanding when players are in motion, the stripes are designed to maximize ventilation and highlight velocity. Red socks with a linear white graphic on the calf highlight the lower legs.
The Poland 2016/17 Nike away kit features the same technology as the two-time FIFA World Cup semi-finalist home uniform. It comprises of an all-red shirt, shorts and socks.
“We are a team of young players and a few years ago we all shared a dream to play in the national colors, with an eagle on our chests. During this summer’s tournament, we all will get to live that dream,” explains Polish national team captain and FC Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski.
