Known for their 100% premium cotton, European made soccer-inspired shirt, COPA Football’s latest collection is now in stores. Along with their always stellar tees, the Dutch firm has now released their first ever cap collection. This is our World Exclusive look at the new range. It is now on sale at Subside Sports and COPA’s online store.
There are football t-shirts and then there are COPA’s well thought out, expertly designed tees. Beyond just the relatively bland graphic that some of the big sportswear firms stamp on their shirts, COPA’s are done by designers from around the world who are well-versed in The Beautiful Game. Given their multinational nature, the results include localized elements that footie fans worldwide will appreciate.
COPA Blackout T-Shirt
Possibly one of the best soccer t-shirts around right now, the COPA Blackout T-Shirt incorporates a series of elements that have been integral to soccer jerseys since the 1970s. Classic tonal stripes are part of the design along with an embroidered and ultra-classy COPA Football crest. The back of the shirt has a classic font number felt 8 applied to it.
The COPA logo appears on the right breast while a COPA tags adorns the lower left frontal area. Putting these together in a blackout design results in a brilliant piece of apparel that will let you show off your love for football in any casual setting. Given the cool blackout look of the shirt you could even get away with wearing it in a business casual office setting or into one of those clubs that don’t allow sportswear.
COPA Hinchas All Over T-Shirt
As you might guess the COPA Hinchas All Over comes from a designer in football mad Argentina. Now a thing of the past in the big league of Europe, soccer fans (“hinchas” in Spanish) still shoot flares and climb and shake fences in acts of unbridled passion when supporting their clubs.
The COPA Hinchas All Over t-shirt uses a well-taken photograph of a group of fans in action as the basis of a stunning all over graphic. Celebratory stadium confetti peppers the upper front and back of the tee. The famed light blue and white of the Argentina national team home kit and away dark blue for the colorway of the shirt in a nod the South American footballing powerhouse at club and country level.
Last but not least, a white number 9 is printed on the back of the shirt in an old school font. This is a great way to complete the tee and reinforce its celebration of soccer.
COPA Caps
One of COPA’s biggest launches of 2016 is their first ever cap collection. The range includes two trucker’s caps with the popular “Pyro” and “Football Romantics” designs and a COPA embroidered snapback cap.
The COPA snapback is one for the headwear purists with a classic black design featuring an embroidered COPA signature on its front and tag on its side. The flat brimmed look is trendy and simple and can be worn in any casual setting from the pub to the beach.
COPA’s trucker caps are a wonderful interpretation of a standard piece of Americana. They maintain the high soft front and mesh back of trucker’s caps that date back the 1970s. However, they’ve been given the football touch by COPA’s designers via their always clever graphics. The result are a couple of pieces of gear that are as classic as the headwear that they are based on.
