Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A top five finishers for the last three seasons, Clube Atlético Mineiro recently signed a club record technical sponsorship deal with new sportswear firm DRYWORLD.
The former Copa Libertadores champions went on to unveil their 2016 home and away kits from the Canadian firm on Monday night.
Modeled by a host of Atlético Mineiro players including new signing Robinho, the 2016 “Galo” (Rooster) kits maintain the club’s tradition of black and white striped home shirts and mainly white away jerseys. Both use the same modern design from DRYWORLD featuring a low rise, two colored ribbed collar. It also features a fairly wide sleeve cuff.
The Atlético Mineiro 2016 home kit is completed with black shorts and white socks. The alternate uniform uses white shorts and black socks.
Atlético Mineiro will debut their 2016 DRYWORLD away kit when they meet Peruvian champions FBC Melgar in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores in Arequipa on Wednesday evening.
