The Houston Dynamo unveiled their first ever a black jersey on Wednesday evening in the form of their 2016 adidas away kit.
The Texas club will wear their 2015/16 home shirt for the second season in a row during their upcoming Major League Soccer and US Open Cup runs. Both will be available at World Soccer Shop and Kitbag.
The Houston Dynamo 2016 secondary jersey maintains the team’s “Forever Orange” theme by using three shades of the color on a prominent “V” shape on its chest. The club says that the design pay homage to the its past, present and future. The Dynamo’s “Space City Blue”provides detail on the collar and sleeves of the shirt.
The jock tag of the kit has a print of the Lone Star Flag of Texas while “Forever Orange” is printed on its inside neck tape. The text “DYNAMO” is printed on the outside back collar of the jersey.
The Houston Dynamo will debut their 2016 adidas away kit when they host the New England Revolution on March 6th at BBVA Compass Stadium in Week 1 of MLS action.
