Arguably the best supported club in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, Botafogo launched their PUMA home, away and third kits for the 2015/16 Brazilian soccer calendar on Thursday evening.
Modeled by current Fogão (The Great Fire) players Jefferson, Helton Leite, Willian Arão, Serginho, Neilton, Luis Henrique, Navarro, Mauro and Leandro, the Botafogo 15/16 kits all use brand new designs from PUMA.
The new home jersey is in the club’s traditional black and white vertical stripes and uses a classic wide v-neck, polo collar combinations. The black away and pinstriped gray third jerseys have more modern feels with standing ribbed collars that lead to an opening at their fronts.
The lower right side of all three kits have two stars printed above the numbers 68 and 95. They celebrate Botafogo’s 1968 and 1995 Série A titles.
One point off the top of Brazil’s second division of football, Botafogo will debut their 2015/16 PUMA home kit when they host Paysandu at the Estádio Olímpico João Havelange in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.
