Defending Barclays Premier League champions Chelsea Football Club today unveiled their 2015/16 adidas third kit. The new shirt will be worn by The Blue during Sunday’s league meeting with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
The mostly black Chelsea FC 2015/16 adidas third strip continues the team’s tradition of dark colored change kits. It is highlighted by a lateral pinstripe design on its front that is reminiscent of tire tracks. There is some speculation that the graphic is an ode to new CFC shirt sponsor Yokohama Tyres.
The back of the jersey is all black while the adidas branding and sleeve cuffs on the shirt are white. The Chelsea crest is in black and white to blend in with the rest of the kit.
The accompanying shorts also feature the pinstripe design with a gradient effect that sees a downward fade to white. White socks complete the latest Chelsea FC change kit.
Still in the hunt for their first win of the 2015/16 season, Chelsea were in the news this week for signing Spanish international Pedro from FC Barcelona along with highly rated Ghananian defender Baba Rahman.
