Club de Fútbol Monterrey have released a pair of commemorative jerseys from PUMA Mexico celebrating their 70th Anniversary.
Los Rayados latest kits are inspired by the home shirts worn by CF Monterrey in the 1980s. The team won the first of their now four Mexican Primera División in 1986.
Both features Monterrey’s signature vertical stripes. One of the anniversary shirts uses a series of dark blue and white stripes while the other has a mix of dark blue, white and light gray stripes.
The current CF Monterrey badge appears on the left side of each kit while the original club crest from 1945 is on the right. Seven stars representing the team’s domestic and international titles appear arouns the modernized badge and on the right sleeve.
Only 1,945 units each jersey will be made available for purchase. The quantities are based on the year of Los Rayados’ founding.
