Allianz Arena co-occupants TSV 1860 München (rival FC Bayern share the stadium) have switched technical partners from uhlsport to Italian sportswear firm Macron.
The 2. Bundesliga team introduced their new outfitter and their 2015/16 home and away kits at their training ground on Monday. Die Löwen (The Lions) went on to wear the new Macron home uniform in their first pre-season match on Tuesday against TSV Kottern.
The TSV 1860 München 2015/16 Macron home shirt is a modernized version of the well-known sky blue and white striped jersey. Next season’s stripes are wider than in recent seasons while the back of the kit is mainly light blue to accommodate player names and numbers.
The TSV 1860 15/16 away jersey is dark blue with sky blue pinstripes. It uses a y-neck collar that Macron has used for a number of club kits over the last year.
A Bundesliga club for most of the 1990s and early 2000s, 1860 München finished last season in sixteenth place in Germany’s second tier of soccer. They avoided relegation to the 3. Liga via a playoff series win over Holstein Kiel.
