The Tampa Bay Rowdies launched their 2015 home and away kits from new club outfitter Nike on Wednesday evening at the Mahaffey Theater.
The uniform unveiling was part of the North American Soccer League club’s invitation-only season kickoff celebration led by team President and General Manager Farrukh Quraishi, Head Coach Thomas Rongen and captain Marcelo Saragosa.
The Tampa Bay Rowdies 2015 home and away jerseys use a typically minimalistic crewneck design from Nike. The home shirt is in the club’s famous green and gold hoops.
It is the first Rowdies jersey that includes hoops on its sleeves since the club’s reemergence in 2010. The Rowdies’ 2015 Nike away shirt is an all “sunshine” yellow affair. A United State flag is embroidered on the left sleeve of both kits while an NASL patch appears on the right sleeves.
NASL champions in 1975 and 2012, the Tampa Bay Rowdies kick off their 2015 season at the San Antonio Scorpions on Saturday night.
