Still in possession of the record for the most French Ligue 1 titles despite failing to win the league since 1981, AS Saint-Étienne remain among France’s best supported clubs.
Les Verts (The Greens) launched a three match kit range from technical partner le coq sportif earlier this week as they prepare for their 2017/18 league, Coupe de France and Couple de la Ligue campaigns.
The new Les Verts Saint-Étienne jerseys are in the club’s traditional home green, away black and third white. They all use a new bespoke design from le coq sportif carrying a classic look reminiscent of some of the v-necked jersey worn by ASSE during their glory days of the 1960s and 1970s.
A rounded insert at the front of the neck creates a faux undershirt effect. Saint-Étienne’s 2017/18 kits are made of a modern cotton / polyester blend intended to give a retro football shirt look.
Eight placed finishers in Ligue 1 last season, Saint-Étienne kick off their 2017/18 campaign against Mario Balotelli and OGC Nice on August 5th.
