Deportivo Cali are wearing a three match kit collection from Umbro Colombia for their 2016 Categoría Primera A, Copa Colombia and Copa Libertadores campaigns.
In keeping with a current Umbro trend the shirts appear to use bespoke designs for Deportivo Cali from the Colombian arm of Umbro.
The Deportivo Cali 2016 home jersey is in the club’s traditional green with white details. Its fabric has an eye-catching checkered pattern that combines with its simple v-neck collar to create a classic soccer jersey look.
Los Verdiblancos (The White and Greens) away shirt has a white base with a rounded neckline. A triangle appears below the collar in the dark green detailing used throughout the kit.
Lastly, Deportivo Cali’s 2016 third kit is a lime green crewneck affair. Its collar is trimmed in black. The jersey’s shoulder flashes are also black while its Umbro branding is in dark green.
Deportivo Cali made international news earlier this week as a result of their Copa Libertadores meeting with Argentine champions Boca Juniors. Veteran Argentina striker Carlos Tevez broke the jaw of Cali’s goalkeeper with a high knee during the match.
