Following a 2015 season that saw them finish in second place in the Swedish Allsvenskan and emerge as champions of the Svenska Cupen (Swedish Cup) IFK Göteborg have signed a technical partnership deal with Kappa.
Among Sweden’s most successful club domestically and in Europe, the “Blåvitt” (Blue-white) presented their 2016 home kit ahead of their friendly with Norway’s Sarpsborg 08 on Saturday.
The new IFK Göteborg shirt is the latest to use the Kappa Kombat 2016 template featuring y-shaped collar. It has IFK’s classic blue and white stripes on its front. The sleeves of the jersey are white with blue cuffs. Most of the shirt’s back is white to provide an unobstructed view of player name and numbers and sponsor logos.
The IFK Göteborg 2016 Kappa home kit is completed by blue shorts and white socks for what the club calls an elegant look.
