Shamrock Rovers Football Club this week unveiled their first ever New Balance kit. The shirt in question is the seventeen-time Irish champions 2016/17 home kit. Rovers wore Warrior Football-branded uniforms last season before New Balance retired the soccer focused line.
The Shamrock Rovers primary kit for 2016 and 2017 League of Ireland and cup seasons is in their traditional green and white hoops. It uses a bespoke design from New Balance featuring a modern ribbed v-neck collar. The back of the jersey is all green. The uniform is completed with green shorts and green and white hooped socks.
Third placed League of Ireland finishers last season, Shamrock Rovers currently have former Chelsea FC and Newcastle United winger Damien Duff on their roster.
