Hertha Berlin have released a three kit match collection for their 2015/16 German Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal seasons.
According to Nike: This season Hertha BSC will play in an updated take on its traditional aesthetic. The look extends an enduring pride in Berlin and the club’s status as the German capital’s leading team.
The 15/16 home shirt’s back neck features a small Berlin state flag, a symbol that has represented West Berlin since 1954 and the entire city since 1990, the year of German reunification. Additionally, red details inspired by the flag adorn both the shirt and the club’s signature blue shorts.
References to Hertha BSC’s home colors also run subtly through the 2015/16 navy blue away kit. The club’s traditional lighter blue debuts around the back of the modern V-neck collar, whilst sleeve cuffs feature white and lighter blue trim as a tribute to the home stripes that are synonymous with the club.
As on the home shirt, the away kit features a small Berlin state flag on the back of the neck.
Proud symbols of the club, the new kits are also progressive. They offer the latest in Nike performance innovation, fabric technology, moisture management and environmental sustainability.
