A fixture in the German Bundesliga for most of the last decade, 1. FSV Mainz 05 switched providers from Nike to Lotto Sport at the end of last season. The team has since unveiled their 2015/16 home, away and third kits.
The new range consists of three football shirts that use a couple of Lotto’s latest kit designs. The red home and white away jerseys feature the Italian firm’s new Mao collared design. Though the look is common for kits nowadays, Lotto’s designers have added a clever loop opening on the chest area for a unique look. The Mainz 05 15/16 third shirt uses the same template but with a crew neck collar. It is highlighted by a unique sky-inspired print on its front.
The Mainz 2015/16 Lotto home, away and third kits (available soon at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop) are all slim-fitting with contrasting colors used for their collars, sleeve cuffs and waistline trim. The year of the club’s founding (1905) is printed on the sign off area at their upper backs while the Lotto Sport logo is on the right chest and both sleeves.
Eleventh placed finishers in the Bundesliga last season, Mainz 05 return to league action on August 15th with against FC Ingolstadt 04.
