Toffs x The Art of Football Retro Shirts

Retro football shirt experts Toffs have partnered with The Art of Football for the launch of a range of t-shirts that capture some of the greatest moments and players from the last forty years of The Beautiful Game.

The Art of Football team describes their work succinctly with in one paragraph:

We’ve had a chance to have an in-person look at a couple of the Art of Football tees and are pleased to share a detailed look at them with you. We will say that we were quite impressed with them.

The Art of Football t-shirts are packaged in paint splattered gift boxes that are ideal for the Christmas season. Open them up and you will find a gift card, a paint brush, chocolate and a 100% high-grade cotton tee with a collectible image featuring football legends that include the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Johan Cruyff.

The images are based on equally legendary pictures that have been augmented by the artistic knowledge of The Art of Football team. For instance, the Cruyff Turn shirt shown has the Dutch Master in action at the 1974 World Cup. His brilliance is emphasized via cleverly placed strokes of paint and the additional of newspaper print to the picture. In terms of fit, The Art of Football t-shirts are true to size. It should be noted that they are not slim-fitting like many shirts nowadays so we recommend going a size down if you want to show off your physique while showing off your appreciation for soccer greatness.
