Video: Australia 4 – India 0 (AFC Asian Cup 2011 Highlights)

India fell to a 4-0 defeat against Australia in their first AFC Asian Cup appearance since 1984 on Monday. Two goals from Everton’s Tim Cahill and one apiece from Harry Kewell and Brett Holman saw the Socceroos go atop Group C pending South Korea’s meeting with Bahrain later today.

Australia outshot India by 19 to 5 and had 65% ball possession over the course of the match as they thoroughly outclassed their opponents. They now face what is expected to be a much more challenging opposition in the form of South Republic on January 14th.
