Australia will look to rebound from their defeat to Fiji at Rugby World Cup 2023 when they meet Wales on Sunday.
The Wallabies are outfitted by Rugby Australia technical partner Asics for this year’s world championship in France.
The Australia 2023 home jersey features a return to the iconic Wallaby gold hue at a Rugby World Cup for the first time since 1995. Rugby Australia says that the shirt is designed to give the Wallabies every performance advantage via Asics high quality sports performance recycled polyester and a new ergonomic fit.
For the first time at the Rugby World Cup, the Wallabies will have a permanent First Nations design component on their primary strip, with the playing numbers and inside collar to bear the design of Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist Dennis Golding.
Additional elements on the jersey include an eye-catching upgraded Australian Coat of Arms in a raised metallic finish, and a new Chojo Line design print across the chest to symbolize the teams competing in the highest level of world rugby and reaching the peak of their abilities.
The Wallabies Rugby World Cup 2023 alternate kit also features Golding’s design work in green contrasted against a sleek white base.
