Pictures: Santos FC 2011 Cheerleader Tryouts

Soccer cheerleaders have been a prominent in Major League Soccer and the Mexican Primera for some time now. In recent years the land of Samba and some of the best soccer players in history, Brazil, has picked up on the trend. Among the most popular of the Brazilian soccer cheerleading troupes is the Santos FC Cheerleaders (or líderes de torcida in Portuguese).

On Wednesday, Santos FC held its auditions for the 2011 incarnation of its cheerleading squad from which 10 Brazilian soccer babes were selected to cheer on Neymar and company next season.
