Soccer startup Best Days has released their first ever collection of t-shirts and prints inspired by some of the greatest teams and players in the history of The Beautiful Game.
Their timing is impeccable give the revival of 1990s football shirts that we’re seeing during the 2019/20 kit cycle. It’s also refreshing as modern soccer jerseys are becoming increasingly commercialized with multiple sponsor logos while using uncreative designs.
Here is our World Exclusive up-close look at a few of Best Days’ statement 100% cotton t-shirts for 2019. Their full collection is available at bestdays.co.
Rush Liverpool ’89 Pocket-Tee
O.G. soccer fans will spot the iconic print that was used for the Liverpool Football Club 1998 to 1991 home kit on the oversized pocket of this shirt.
Everything else on the tee has been kept low key in order to ensure that the emphasis remains on the print. The result is a subtle declaration of fandom for Liverpool teams old and new and football in general.
Get in amongst ’em! Tee
Classic in color with a matching set of boots printed on its front, the Best Days Get in amongst ’em! Tee celebrates the Sunday League and pickup soccer cultures.
Its how many a big league or local circuit legend started in in footie. Lace up whatever boots you can afford and get into the mix regardless of weather, ground conditions or whether you know the folks playing or not.
Don’t let it bounce! Tee
Before artificial grass and cityscape football pitches existed, everyone played on bumpy fields at some point. While erratic ball bounces are inevitable on such surfaces you could always count on someone to say, “Don’t let it bounce!”
This Best Days tee makes light of the ubiquitous phrases with a retro print on its back showing two plays in classic kits vying for control of the ball. The company’s clever rainbow-inspired logo appears on the front left breast.
All of Best Days tees fit true to size and carry contemporary t-shirt fits. They’re quite comfortable on the skins since they’re made of 100% cotton. They do not retain sweaty or plastic-like smells when worn or washed since they are free of synthetic materials.
