Thailand debuted their 2016/17 home kit during Thursday night’s 1-0 World Cup qualifier loss to Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
In the now first choice blue of the War Elephants, the new uniform was unveiled along with a light red away strip in the lead up to the Thai’s start of the final round of Asian World Cup qualification.
Provided by local firm Grand Sport, the Thailand 2016/17 home and away kits use a classic football shirt design with a dark blue polo collar. Their inside necklines are gold along with the underside of their collars and part of their sleeve cuffs.
Subtle pinstripes run along the fronts and backs of the new shirts. A series of laser cut holes provide additional ventilation at the sides of the kits. They form a diampnd pattern and appear at the top of a series of pentagons that have gradient effects added to them.
