Well-respected soccer specialists Umbro have dropped the Velocita 2 – the second shoe in their first ever speed boot silo. It is now on sale at Lovell Soccer.
According to Umbro: The Velocita gets a fresh look for 2016, with a re-engineered external framework helping to reduce pressure and improve grip. Following a rigorous development and testing program, the Velocita has been engineered to work with the player who needs to move in all directions – fast.
The Velocita 2 is lightweight – the Hard Ground version is just 165 grams (6.52 ounces) – but comfort has not been made a casualty, thanks to strategically-placed padding and Umbro’s A-Frame cradle in the mid foot. The Velocita 2 has a specially-constructed outsole offering increased traction and mobility.
Offering improved fit and a better grip on the ball, a re-engineered lightweight upper enhances the Velocita 2 without sacrificing anything that made it so special in the first place. That means a boot that can withstand pressure from all sides, provide grip in all-weather conditions and give you optimum traction in all directions.
Umbro has released the Velocita 2 in a classy black/sulphur/white colorway that we expect to see first generation Velocita wearer Wayne Hennessey (Wales and Crystal Palace) donning soon.
