Regular Costa Rican Primera División title contenders Liga Deportiva Alajuelense presented their 2016 PUMA home and away kits at a live fan event earlier this week.
The club has given names to their new uniforms with the home kit being called Pasión (Passion). The name celebrates the feeling of tradition and history that the club conveys to its passionate fans. The LDA 2016 home jersey is mainly black with red pinstripes and shoulder stripes. It has a discrete polo collar for what the club calls air of elegance.
The Liga Deportiva Alajuelense 2016 PUMA away kit is named “Poder” (Power) in recognition of the fact that the club commands regional respect because of their many domestic and CONCACAF titles. It is a mainly white affair with a series of gray hoops bordered in red and black running across its front. LDA’s crest colors of red and black are also used to the jersey’s rounded collar, sleeve cuffs and shoulder stripes.
