Chapecoense 2015/16 Umbro Third and 1977 Retro Jerseys

Currently just above the relegation zone of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Associação Chapecoense de Futebol have released their 2015/16 Umbro third shirt along with a retro jersey inspired by their 1977 away kit.

The Chapecoense 15/16 away kit continues the club’s recent trend of hooped change jerseys. The latest edition uses a dark green base with blocks of bright green on its front and back. Its collar and sleeve cuffs are largely white with green trim. Subtle stylized Umbro diamonds are printed on the lighter green areas of the shirt.

Chapecoense’s new retro kit is inspired by the away shirt worn by the club in 1977 when they won their Campeonato Catarinense (Santa Catarina State Championship) titles. The jersey includes a classic club crest with “1977” embroidered below it in gold. A laurel wreath with “77” inside appears on the signoff area of the crewneck shirt.

Chapecoense’s 15/16 home and away kits were launched in May.
