Norway’s SK Brann have made international news with the introduction of the 2015 home kit from hummel. The new shirt is the world’s first to be use a rubber base intended to keep players dry in rainy and snowy conditions.
The club says that the shiny look of the fabric on SK Brann’s 2015 primary jersey takes its inspiration from classic stadium floodlights reflecting on drizzle.
SK Brann has not yet stated if fan replica of the kit will be made of standard football shirt polyester or the latex fabric used for the authentic version.
Norwegian Premier League winners as recently as 2007, SK Brann were relegated to the First Division at the end of the 2014 season.
