Canterbury Releases RAF Rugby Union WWI Commemorative Shirt

Canterbury have released a Royal Air Force Rugby Union World War I Commemorative shirt in recognition of the one hundredth anniversary of the conflict and Remembrance Day 2014.

Now available at the Lovell Rugby and Canterbury online shops, the limited edition kit features a picture of a World War I fighter pilot standing next to his airplane in its front. An semi-transparent image of a red remembrance poppy appears over part of the picture.

The years during which World War I occurred (1914-1918) is printed on the lower back of the shirt along with the text “WE WILL REMEMBER THEM”.

Canterbury will donate a portion of the sales of the kit to The Royal British Legion (a charity that provides financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependents).
