German international Thomas Müller scored a brace to lead FC Bayern Munich to a surprising 4-0 rout of FC Barcelona in the first leg of their 2012/13 UEFA Champions League meeting at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.
Arjen Robben and Mario Gomez added goals for the Bavarian giants as they seek their third Champions League Final appearance in three seasons.
The teams will meet again in the return leg in Spain on May 1st with Barcelona looking to rebound from its heaviest tournament defeat since a 1997 home loss to Dynamo Kyiv.
