Borussia Dortmund 2024/25 PUMA Cup Kit

PUMA and Borussia Dortmund have unveiled the club’s Cup kit for the 2024/25 season, a tribute to the team’s storied past and iconic moments. This launch signifies not just a new season, but a celebration of the club’s rich history, encapsulated in the design of the new shirt. The new jersey will be donned by Borussia Dortmund in their upcoming DFL-Pokal and UEFA Champions League campaigns, symbolizing a blend of tradition and future ambitions.

PUMA says that the 2024/25 Borussia Dortmund Cup kit is a testament to the club’s illustrious past, incorporating elements from four historic kits worn during iconic cup moments. Among these is the memorable 2013 UEFA Champions League final kit. The design is a patchwork of these classic jerseys, each segment narrating a chapter of BVB’s remarkable cup history. This innovative approach not only honors past glories but also sets the stage for new achievements.

PUMA offers the 2024/25 Cup kit in both Authentic and Replica versions to cater to different needs. The Authentic jersey, worn by BVB’s players on the pitch, is crafted with PUMA’s advanced ULTRAWEAVE fabric. This material is designed to reduce weight and friction, ensuring optimal performance. Meanwhile, the Replica version provides the same striking design but with a more relaxed fit, making it ideal for both match days and everyday wear. Both versions feature PUMA’s dryCELL technology, which effectively wicks away sweat to keep wearers dry and comfortable.

The 24/25 Cup jersey was unveiled during Borussia Dortmund’s pre-season tour of Asia, with a special event held in Bangkok on July 20th. This grand reveal was followed by the kit’s on-pitch debut in a friendly match against BG Pathum United FC on July 21st.
