Video: Obama Meets the LA Galaxy. Jokes with Beckham and Keane.

Defending Major League Soccer champions the Los Angeles Galaxy were greeted by US president Barack Obama at the White House in Washington, DC on Tuesday.

During their visit with Obama, the team presented the president with a customized LA Galaxy 2012 adidas home kit bearing his last name and the number one. A jovial Obama  joked with Galaxy star David Beckham regarding his advanced age, underwear endorsement deal and high payroll team who he called “the Miami Heat of soccer.” He told Beckham that it is “rare man who can be that tough on the field and also have his own line of underwear” and that half of his teammates “could be his kids. We’re getting old, David.”
