Video: USA Soccer Legend Mia Hamm becomes an FC Barcelona Ambassador

Hamm has signed a 3-year deal with the club during which Barca will use her image to promote its charitable foundation – La Fundanció.

The now 37-year old Hamm retired from soccer in 2004 after winning two Olympic gold medals, the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 1991 and 1999 and two FIFA Women’s Player of the Year awards. She was at FC Barcelona’s club headquarters on Thursday for the announcement of her new role with the club.
