Barcelona played the last 30 minutes with 10 men following Sergio Busquets’ second yellow card. However, the loss of Busquets made little difference in Barca’s classy performance as they mastered Real with their trademarked intricate passing.

The win saw Barca return to the top of the Spanish Primera Liga with 30 points after 12 games. Real Madrid lie in second position with 28 points.
