Le Coq Sportif has released 2022/23 home and away kits for the France national rugby team.
The jerseys use a bespoke rounded neck design from the now 140 year old French firm. They are in the usual home blue and away white of the XV de France.
The kits are highlighted by five knitted thrust lines on their front. The lines point to the heart area of the jerseys to embody the power and work of the French rugby team as it gets ready for Rugby World Cup 2023.
The names of the French amateur clubs of 1922 are placed on the inside back area of the shirt in a nod to French grassroots rugby. “EN ROUTE POR 2023” (En route to 2023) is printed on a strip that runs over the club names.
“NOTRE MAILLOT NOTRE HISTOIRE NOTRE PAYS” (Our Shirt, Our History, Our Country) appears on the inside neckline while “FRANCE RUGBY” is printed on the outside sleeve cuffs.
