Bayern München Oktoberfest 2021 adidas Kit

Perennial German Bundesliga champions FC Bayern München will wear a special edition Oktoberfest 2021 adidas kit for Saturday’s league match against VfL Bochum at the Allianz Arena.

The dark green jersey pays tribute to the annual Munich Oktoberfest festival despite its cancellation for a second year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bayern says that the shirt “is intended to express the club’s bond with its home and its traditions, and to show what Oktoberfest and the German record champions are known for globally: openness, socialising, a joy of living and a sense of tradition.”

The FC Bayern 2021 Oktoberfest jersey is accented in gold to create a classic lederhosen appearance. Embroidery based on Bavarian tradition forms a laurel around the Bayern Munich crest.

An Alpine edelweiss is placed on the kit’s nape. The flower often appears on Oktoberfest beer steins.
