Guinness world record holders for the most consecutive wins by a professional soccer team, Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side Coritiba Foot Ball Club have released their 2017/18 home kit from adidas Brasil.
The new “Coxa” (Thigh) primary shirt is in their traditional white with a pair of green chest bands that have the Coritiba badge at their middle. The jersey uses a new rounded neck design from adidas with green shoulder stripes and sleeve cuffs.
The words “Garra, Força, Tradição” are printed on a green graphic that also includes the Coritba crest on the upper, outside back of the kit. The words are taken from the club’s hymn.
“Since we started our partnership with Coritiba, we have been able to make shirts directly related to the history of the club. This time we used the hymn as a source of inspiration, which is a very nice thing. And the result was sensational. I’m sure the shirt will be a success among fans,” comented Luiz Gaspar, head of soccer for adidas Brazil.
Coritiba will wear their 2017/18 adidas home kit in match action for the first time on May 15th when they meet Atlético Goianiense in Round 1 of the 2017 Série A season.
