Now in their third year with adidas, Japanese J1 League regulars Vegalta Sendai’s 2017 kits introduce a new spin on the firm’s Condivo 16 design. The shirts are the first to include checkered designs on the ubiquitous v-neck template’s front.
The Vegalta Sendai 2017 adidas home jersey is in the club’s traditional gold with tonal checkers. Its sleeve cuffs is trimmed in dark blue to match with the accompanying shorts. Vegalta’s new away shirt has a white base with blue checkers on its frontal area.
In a somewhat novel move, Vegalta Sendai’s goalkeepers are using the same kit design as the team’s outfield players. Their jersey are black with dark gray checkers and pink with dark pink checkers.
Vegalta Sendai are currently in twelfth place in the 2017 J1 League table after seven matches played in the season.
