A-League double winners Adelaide United Football Club have switched kit providers from Kappa to Macron.
The Reds have since revealed their 2016/17 home and away kits from the Italian firm known for also outfitting the likes of Lazio, Crystal Palace and Stoke City.
Both jerseys use bespoke designs for Adelaide United. The home shirt is in the club’s traditional red with detailing in the dark blue and gold of sate of South of Australia’s coat of arms. The 16/17 primary kit has a classic polo collar with a strip of blue and gold on its inside neckline. A stamp featuring the Adelaide United crest, name and A-League emblem appears below the strip.
The Adelaide United 2016/17 Macron away shirt is black with red accents via its shoulder stripes, sleeve cuffs and modern stand-up collar. It has the same inside neck area stamp as the home jersey.
The Adelaide United 16/17 kits are the first ever A-League jerseys to include a woven Champions badge on their right chest. The golden patch will be a fixture on the league’s defending champions from now on. A silver star is embroidered above the Adelaide crest in recognition of the club’s second A-League title.
