With a spot in the English Football League Championship secured for a second season in a row, Bristol City FC today revealed their 2016/17 home kit.
Under the Bristol Sport (an organization representing professional sports in the coastal city) brand, Bristol City’s 16/17 home shirt is the first British football kit to feature hashtags as part of its design. #MakingBristolProud and #BristolCity appear on the right and left shoulders on the jersey.
The Bristol City 2016/17 home kit uses the mainly red look that the club wore between 1965 to 1971 and during the early 2000s. A subtle series of tonal stripes runs along the front of the shirt. White appears on its flanks and on the back of the collar.
The teams nickname “The Robins” is embossed on the front tail of the shirt while the logo of the club’s new 27,000 seater Ashton Gate stadium is printed on the signoff area.
Red short and socks complete the first choice look of Bristol City FC for their 16/17 Championship, League Cup and FA cup runs.
