Japanese J2 League outfit JEF United Ichihara Chiba will wear a commemorative 25th Anniversary Kappa kit for their three home matches during the month of May.
The limited edition kit departs from JEF United’s current yellow primary shirt in favor of the striped light blue look that they donned when they were formed in 1991. The thin stripes and trim on the jersey are in a dark blue and matches with the accompanying shorts and socks of the 25th Anniversary uniform.
“JEF United Ichihara Chiba. since 1991.6.11. 25th anniversary” is printed on the inside neck of the shirt. A golden shield bearing the number “25” is screenprinted on the kit’s right breast. “1991 – 2016. 25th anniversary” is printed below it.
A J1 team from 1993 to 2009, JEF United Ichihara Chiba have campaigned in Japan’s second tier of soccer since 2010.
