Still in the hunt for a return the Serie A, Italy’s Pescara Calcio have released their first kit of 2016 in the form of their 80th Anniversary jersey from technical sponsor Errea.
The commemorative shirt’s design is inspired by the kit worn by Pescara when they first won promotion to Serie A at the end of the 1976/77 season. While it does have a 1970s-styled oversized collar, an additional retro element has been added to the shirt through a drawstring placket. An 80th Annivesary patch is embroidered onto its right sleeve.
The Delfino Pescara 1936 (the club’s actual name) Errea 80th Anniversary uniform is completed by white shorts and socks. It will be worn during Pescara’s April 23 Serie B meeting with Brescia.
