Closely affiliated with Spanish La Liga club Rayo Vallecano because of their ownership, Rayo Oklahoma City kicked off their NASL season with on Saturday evening.
Featuring World Cup-experienced players Georgios Samaras (Greece), Robbie Findley (USA) and Derek Boateng (Ghana), Rayo OKC have revealed a three kit collection from Kelme for their 2016 season.
The white home, gray and pink away, and multicolored third jerseys mirror the designs of the Rayo Vallecano 2015/16 shirts that were released last summer.
The most striking shirt of the range is the third or “Community Kit”. The jerseyhas a black base with a rainbow-colored sash that is made up of a series of stripes. Each stripe represents a cause that Rayo OKC supports.
The club says that a portion of the sales from each third kit will be donated to “affiliated partner organizations”.
Boasting one of the most impressive rosters in the North American Soccer League, Rayo OKC drew over 6,400 fans for last night’s 0-0 draw with FC Edmonton (highlights here).
