Japan Add AFC Asian Cup Champions Badge to 2014/15 Kits

The Japan Football Association have added a golden AFC Asian Cup 2011 Champions badge to the mid-chest area of the Samurai Blue 2014/15 adidas home and away kits.

The team’s new look home shirt was on display today at a press conference in Tokyo in which manager Javier Aguirre named his 23-man squad for Japan’s 2015 Asian Cup campaign. The other change to the Japan 14/15 kits is that the color of the player names and numbering on them has been changed from white to gold.

All of the other elements of the 14/15 kits will remain the same as during Japan’s short run at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Both jerseys are now available at Kitbag, World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop.
