Up-Close: Joma 2014 Indoor Soccer Shoe Range

Look on the feet of the players in any high-level futsal match (including the final of the FIFA Futsal World Cup Thailand 2012) and you will notice an abundance of Joma indoor soccer shoes. The Spanish brand has become reputed for some of the best futsal footwear around and is a favorite of indoor players from the amateur to professional ranks.

Note – If purchasing Joma indoor soccer shoes, we recommend buying them half a size down since the sizes indicated on them are somewhat off by US standards. For example, a size 9.5 actually fits more like a size 10.

Joma Super Regate

The Joma Super Regate in intended to deliver ball control and comfort for the indoor game. It is made of Joma’s Salatech, an innovative combo of mesh and rubber overlay for unrivaled breathability and ball control with double stitching for added durability.

The Joma Super Regate features an EVA insole and built-in mesh for comfort. It is c onstructed with a built-in stabilizer called Estabilizador.  The shoes outsole is double-density rubber to withstand the pace and pressure of the indoor game. Flex channels let the shoe move seamlessly with feet. The Super Regate comes in at a light weight of 8.6 oz.

Joma Super Flex

The Joma Super Flex is a lightweight, minimalistic shoe for your indoor game. Its upper is a soft, thin and supple microfiber suede for flexibility and touch. The shoes uses an EVA insole and durable gum rubber outsole for traction on indoor surfaces.

At just 8 oz. in weight, the Super Flex is currently Joma’s lightest indoor shoe. As such it is suited to speedy pivot players who lean more towards offense or end to end wingers who play the entire court in futsal.

Joma Top Flex

Joma’s Top Flex is a classic feel futsal shoe mean to be flexible enough for any position in the indoor game. It uses a retro look futsal shoe design that is still at home on any modern court. The shoe’s upper is made of a soft and extremely comfortable leather with great ball feel. Its midsole area is a molded phylon material while a durable suede is used for the toecap.

The Top Flex uses a gum rubber outsole and comes two sets of laces of different colored laces for those wishing to change the look for their shoes. The  is on the heavier side compared to the other Joma indoor shoes that we’ve looked at with a weight of 9.4 oz.
