French Ligue 1 2012/13 Official Match Ball – “Le 80” by adidas

The 2012/13 season represents the 80th anniversary of professional football in France and Ligue 1 is celebrating with a new official matchball from official supplier adidas.

Named “Le 80” (“The 80”), the 2012/13 Ligue 1 ball features the names and championship years of the nineteen clubs that have won the league in its professional era on its panels. It appears to be the latest incarnation of the adidas Tango 12 ball used for the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League Final and slated for use in EURO 2012.
